FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o has been elected to the CAF Executive Committee. He represents Central Africa on the African soccer governing body, succeeding Seidou Mbombo Njoya and becoming the first footballer to sit on the committee since its creation.

As a member of the executive committee, the legendary number 9 will now have a say in the major decisions of African football
